Through the annual Bright Sparc Awards, technology led businesses and entrepreneurs from across the northern Home Counties region have the opportunity to be recognised and celebrated for innovative achievements. Now in its third year, the Awards are managed by the Sparc Technology Network and honour those businesses and individuals who have truly excelled in their specialist field.
Across a wide variety of industry sectors, the Bright Sparc Awards allow innovative companies to showcase their work to an expert panel of judges and gain recognition for their achievements. The awards also recognise Support Groups who provide advice, assistance and funding to innovative businesses as well as highlighting successful innovation achieved through collaboration between Universities & Colleges and business.
Each year the awards are closely contested and 2010 was no exception with over 70 entrants across the seven award categories. In addition to the main categories, two further awards are presented for the judges’ Special Merit Award and the Overall Bright Sparc Award 2010.
